Please join Virginia Transit Association for our Annual Transit + Rail Advocacy Day at the Capitol of Virginia. We will begin the day with a meeting led by state transit and rail policy leaders; complimentary coffee will be provided. Following the briefing, our members and advocates will spend the day "On the Hill" meeting with their representatives and sharing their local legislative priorities. Between 2pm and 4pm, there will be an optional Open House at the Department of Rail & Public Transportation (DRPT) Office to meet their new leadership (more information can be found in our Advocacy Day schedule). We will wrap up the day with the Big BBQ Bash Reception at Richmond's Historic Main Street Station with over 300+ legislators, transit industry professionals, business leaders, and decision-makers from across the Commonwealth.

We suggest attendees use the GRTC Pulse BRT line from Government Center to Main Street Station for transportation between events.
